Stella Herbst

Stella D. Herbst, age 72, of N8646 County Road E, Tomahawk, passed away Thursday morning at St. Mary's Hospital in Rhinelander. Stella was born on June 23, 1936 in Jefferson, Wisconsin to the late John and Euphrosine (nee Endl) Schroeder. She was united in marriage to Kenneth J. Herbst on October 14, 1967also in Jefferson, Wisconsin. Stella and her husband moved to the Tomahawk area in 1983. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, bingo, and going to the casino. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Survivors include: Husband, Ken 2 Daughters, Karen (David) Kelley Milwaukee Carol (Greg) Nimmer Tomahawk 2 Sons, Greg (Heather) Herbst Knoxville, TN Daniel Herbst Tomahawk 2 Sisters, Mary Jane Schroeder Jefferson Margaret Schroeder Jefferson Brother, John (Margaret) Schroeder Fort Atkinson, WI Stella is further survived by two grandsons, Erik and Evan. A Memorial Service for Stella Herbst will be held on Monday, December 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Mary Catholic Church. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.
