Steve C. Voermans, age 52, N10160 Keg Road, Harrison, died July 29, 2008 as a result of an industrial accident at Packaging Corporation of America - Tomahawk Mill.
Steve was born March 15, 1956 in Tomahawk, the son of Peter C. and Ruth (Kaas) Voermans. He married Shirley Coffman on June 12, 1982 in Tomahawk. Steve was employed in the maintenance department at PCA - Tomahawk Mill since 1976. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, making maple syrup with his family, gardening, and tending his beautiful pond in the back yard. He was a fan of the Packers, Brewers, and Nascar. He was the supervisor for the Town of Harrison for many years. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Harrison.

Steve is further survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother - Tom, and 1 sister - Mary.
Funeral Services for Steve Voermans will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2008 from St. Augustine Catholic Church in Harrison. Michele Rein and Deacon Dan Towle will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at St. Augustine Cemetery in Harrison.
