Susan E Strougal

Susan Strougal (née Schaack) died on July 8, 2020 following a protracted battle with cancer. She passed away at her home on Squirrel Lake in Minocqua, WI, beneath the towering pines, and surrounded by members of her family and one of her compassionate caregivers.

Susan is survived by her husband, John, her sisters, children, and grandchildren.

Visitation for Susan will be held on Wednesday, July 15th from 10:00am until 10:45am at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI followed by a funeral mass at 11:00am at Holy Family Catholic Church, also in Woodruff, WI. Susan will be buried at the family plot in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery.

The family would especially like to thank Liz Keller, Pam Jordens, Kristy Minx, Sandy Moore, Karen Ziegenbein, and Amanda Bauer for the attentive and empathic care they provided Susan in the final weeks of her life.
