Sylvia Leone Odegaard "Syl" passed away on July 27th after a short illness. Age 68, was born October 30, 1941, in Tomahawk WI. "Syl" was beloved by her family and friends. She is survived by her only daughter ---Leslie Sanders and Grandson Ryan Clarke, who was the joy of her life. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her, including her nieces and nephews : Raye-Ann , Jeffrey, Ellie and Joel; sister-in-law and friend Rita Odegaard and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends including Donna Winker. She was preceded in death by her parents "Cy" and Leona Odegaard, brothers Clarke and Olaf Odegaard and nephew Jay Odegaard She retired from Ethan Allan School in Wales WI in 2002. She was previously employed at Bradley Bank and Nelson Liquor Store. She was famous, or infamous, for her outrageous wit, and her happy-go-lucky spirit. "Syl" was a lover of dogs and she enjoyed team sports, hunting, politics, puzzles, and movies. Syl's faith was reflected in her love of nature. We who love Syl will remember her for her collection of clowns, Mickey Mouse memorabilia and Maxine humor which are examples of her playfulness. Friends and family are invited to join in a celebration of her life on August 21 2010 from 1-4 at the Tomahawk Senior Center, 113 So.
