Teresa Ann Hertlein, 65, loving mother to Jennifer and adoring wife to husband, William, passed away unexpectedly on January 16, 2022, at the Aspirus Hospital in Medford. Teresa was born on November 15, 1956, to Carlton and Anna (Sontag) Loewe, in Chilton, WI.
Teresa grew up on the Loewe family farm with her five siblings, whenever she had the chance, she loved to tell stories about the farm. After graduating high school in 1975, she moved with her family to Phillips and worked at Phillips Plastics. Teresa married William Hertlein on October 6, 1979, in Phillips. They shared a deep love for family and could not wait to start their own. They were blessed with a daughter, Jennifer in 1981. During Jennifer's childhood, she loved to watch her and the girls ride horses. Teresa loved being a mother, she will be fondly remembered by Jen as a generous, loving, and kind mother. Everything Teresa did, she always put her family first.
Her and William loved running their beef hobby farm for ten years. When not at the farm, she enjoyed the 25 years of employment at the local Totem Pole. She was always happy to work with two of her greatest friends, Debbie and Ruthann. She was also blessed to have the many customer relationships she made.
In her free time, Teresa loved to bake, cook, and can all her garden goodies. She made a delicious strawberry rhubarb jam that her family loved to sample. She will be greatly missed by her family especially her daughter, Jennifer. Goodbye to a wonderful woman and magnificent mother.
Teresa is survived by her husband, William; daughter, Jennifer (Al); brothers, Loren (Connie) Loewe, Allen (Jody) Loewe, and Tom (Jessica) Loewe; sister Dawn (Kelly) Spatz; many nieces and nephews; and grand fur babies.
Teresa is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Roland; and family pets, Willie & Roscoe.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Cards and condolences can be sent to the Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home at P.O. Box 27 in Phillips, WI 54555. Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home is assisting the family.
