Theodore R. Haring

Theodore R. Haring, Sr., age 87, of W2206 Gouda Road, Tomahawk, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Ministry Sacred Heart Hospital. Ted was born on April 8, 1928 in Tomahawk to Richard and Pauline (VanStrydonk) Haring. He married Betty Jean Bohnert on July 9, 1949 in Merrill. She passed away in 2006. Ted is a US Army veteran. He worked in the maintenance department at Tomahawk Power and Pulp for 44 years, before retiring in 1990. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards. Ted had a great sense of humor and was a hardworking man; always willing to help. Survivors include: Son, Ted (Yolanda) Haring, Jr. Tomahawk Daughters, Linda Anderson Arizona Carol (Ron) Kulick Tennessee Dolly (Warren) Dupons Paddock Lake, WI Brothers, John Haring Tomahawk Daniel (Lolita) Haring Tomahawk David (Kathy) Haring Tomahawk Ted is further survived by 10 grandchildren- Jamie, Crystal, Tim, Steve, Brad, Rich, Quentin, Andy, Ray & Shane; 5 step grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Betty, 2 grandsons, Nathaniel & Teddy, 8 brothers and 2 sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial for Ted Haring, Sr., will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Mary Catholic Church. Fr. Louis will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Krueger Family Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 4 until 7 p.m. and again at the church on Thursday morning from 10 am until the time of mass at 11 a.m. Krueger Family Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
