Theodore James Zdanowicz, also known as Teddy by those who knew him, passed away in the night on August 20, 2021. He was 70 years old. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, 4 children, and 5 grandchildren.
He retired at 68 to enjoy his grandchildren. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a bartender in the Northwoods for over 40 years. He bartended at Bosacki’s for 11 years, and at Golden Pines for 25 years, and also at C&L Resort. He was also part owner of Popes Gresham Lodge for a time.
He was an avid sports fan and a diehard Packer and Cubs fan. He touched so many lives in the Northwoods, he was especially known for his Brandy Old Fashions, and earned the title as the Greatest Bartender in the Northwoods.
Visitation for Teddy will be held on Saturday, September 4th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI.
