Thomas Dragovich
Thomas Dragovich, 87, Township of Worcester, died on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at the Aspirus Pleasant View Nursing Home, Phillips.
He was born on May 1, 1929, in Phillips, the son of Thomas and Mary (Kramovich).
He spent his entire life in the Phillips area. He attended the Squaw Creek School , worked in the woods, was the owner of Tom’s Septic Service was a dairy farmer and then owned a tree farm. He served in the Wisconsin National Guard from 1951-1954.
He was married to Donna Kreiling on April 6, 1954, in Rockford, Ill.
In his free time he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing.
He was a member of the Phillips Sportsman Club and the Happy Dancers Polka Club.
He is survived by his wife Donna, Township of Worcester, by 2 sons: Scott and Brad(Melissa) Both of Phillips, by 1 daughter: Dawn D. Marie, Hillsboro, Or., by 2 grandchildren: Julie (Tyler) Leith-Ross and Jay (Caitlin) Henningfeld, by 2 great grandchildren: Glen and Maddox Leith-Ross.
He was preceded in death by his parents, by 2 brothers: George and Paul, by sisters: Katherine Plautz, Mary Karnosh, and Helen Spacek and by 3 infant siblings: Peter, Francis and Anne.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. at St. John Lutheran Church, Phillips, with Pastor Glenn Sokolowski officiating. Interment will be in the Lakeside Cemetery, Phillips .Friends may call after 10:00 A.m. on Tuesday at the church until the time of the service.
A memorial Fund has been established.
