Thomas Gene Belzer

Thomas Gene Belzer, age 73 of Winchester, WI died on Wednesday, June 12th at his residence with his family by his side. Tom was born on December 10, 1945 in Kirksville, Missouri the son of Kyle and Martha (nee Greenstreet) Belzer. Tom married Charlyn Larsen on October 7, 1979, she survives.

Tom retired from the US Navy and then worked and retired from the Vilas County Sheriff's Department as a dispatcher. He was a former EMT and firefighter for both Winchester and Manitowish Waters Fire Departments. Tom enjoyed coin collecting, antique clocks and doing genealogy and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Charlyn Belzer and children: Lori Belzer, Jody (Laura) Belzer and Shyla (Mark Giebudowski) Belzer and by grandchildren: Bryce Rota, Evan Belzer, Riley and Jayla Giebudowski and by his sister Janet (Pat) Craig and by nieces, nephews and many caring friends.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents Kyle and Martha Belzer and his sisters: Terry Reynard, LaMyrne Bugg and brother Gordon Belzer.

Upon his wishes cremation will take place and private family celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
