Timothy James Albrecht

Timothy James Albrecht, 65, of Tomahawk, WI passed away Monday, December 9, 2024 at the Country Terrace Assisted Living Facility from Kidney failure. Timothy was born May 27, 1959, the son of Vernon and Barbara (Robinson) Albrecht. Tim worked for Lincoln Industries in Tomahawk until 2019 when his health deteriorated. He made a lot of friends through work and missed them when he couldn’t return. Tim had a great sense of humor and loved teasing his siblings. He loved his nieces and nephews and liked to reminisce of their antics growing up. He enjoyed having them come visit as they grew older. Throughout his life Tim had a keen interest in mechanical engines such as cars, trucks, snowmobiles, ATV’s, tractors. He could quote the make, model and year of most of the older vehicles on the road just by the shape of the headlights, bumper or grill. He also liked to tinker with snowmobile motors and would confer with Bob and his nephews about how to get them running. Tim enjoyed hunting with his dad, Vernon, brother, Bob and nephews, Mike and Travis. They hunted locally for white tail deer and made trips to Colorado to hunt for Elk/mule deer.

Surviving Tim are his sisters, Margie Albrecht, Wausau; Lori (Jeff) Janusz, Woodruff; brother, Robert Albrecht, Tomahawk; nieces and nephews, Mirayra Rau, Weston; Kenneth Ackley, Jackson; Michael (Pamuela) Albrecht, Tomahawk; Travis (Amanda Firkus) Albrecht, Tomahawk; Christopher (Leah) Albrecht, Gleason; six great nephews and three great nieces.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Edwin Albrecht (2012) and Barbara Ann Albrecht (1988); infant sister Linda Albrecht (1956); and sister, Debra Lee Albrecht (2023).

The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice for the compassionate care of Tim.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 16, 2024 at Krueger-Nimsgern Funeral and Cremation Service with Pastor Larry Mathein officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to time of service.
