Timothy McCalla

Timothy A. McCalla, 62, of N8035 Popple Lane, Irma, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Aspirus Hospice House in Wausau. Tim was born on January 31, 1951 in St. Joseph, Michigan, the son of Albert & Henrietta (Warmbein) McCalla. Tim loved Sheryl Kaphaem so much, he married her twice. He was an employee for O-I and PCA for over 20 years. He worked for Dan Baus Construction until he went into the insurance business. Tim owned McCalla & Associates Insurance Agency in Tomahawk for 14 years. Tim had served in the National Guard for 7 years. He loved hunting, woodworking and putzing around the house. Tim enjoyed helping people but his biggest love was for his grandchildren. He was always their biggest fan. Tim is survived by: Wife Sheryl McCalla Tomahawk Daughter Kerry (Len) Scholz Tomahawk Brother Perry (Carol) McCalla Gobles, MI Tim is further survived by his three grandchildren: Cayton, Cody & Carly Scholz. He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Chad, two brothers & one sister. Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Northwoods Vineyard Church. Pastor Ross Nelson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Krueger Family Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 4 until 8 p.m. and again at the church Wednesday morning from 10 am until the time of services at 11 am. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in the spring.
