Timothy A. McCalla, 62, of N8035 Popple Lane, Irma, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Aspirus Hospice House in Wausau.
Tim was born on January 31, 1951 in St. Joseph, Michigan, the son of Albert & Henrietta (Warmbein) McCalla. Tim loved Sheryl Kaphaem so much, he married her twice. He was an employee for O-I and PCA for over 20 years. He worked for Dan Baus Construction until he went into the insurance business. Tim owned McCalla & Associates Insurance Agency in Tomahawk for 14 years. Tim had served in the National Guard for 7 years. He loved hunting, woodworking and putzing around the house. Tim enjoyed helping people but his biggest love was for his grandchildren. He was always their biggest fan.

Tim is further survived by his three grandchildren: Cayton, Cody & Carly Scholz. He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Chad, two brothers & one sister.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Northwoods Vineyard Church. Pastor Ross Nelson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Krueger Family Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 4 until 8 p.m. and again at the church Wednesday morning from 10 am until the time of services at 11 am. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in the spring.
