TODD WILLIAM WALKER
Todd William Walker, 77, Phillips, died in Aspirus Pleasant View Nursing Home in Phillips on Saturday, January 7, 2017. He was born in Decatur, Michigan, August 29, 1939. Son of Everett and Evelyn Walker. He served his country in the United States Army in Korea. He worked as a lineman for the power company for many years before he came to Phillips. Then he worked at Lionite in Phillips, then as an over the road truck driver. In his free time he enjoyed motorcycles and dirt track racing, auto racing, fishing, and hunting.
He is survived by his wife Katherine of 49 years; four children, Roger (Becky) Walker of Phillips, Laurie Walker of Slater, Iowa, Paul Walker of Idaho, and Patti (John) Baralowski of Rhinelander; by five grandchildren and by two great grandchildren.
Committal services will be conducted by Father Gerald Hagen, and Military Honors will be conducted by the Frank and Michael Baran VFW Post No. 5778 and the Lane Kreiling American Legion Post No. 122 at the Heindl Funeral Home in Phillips at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 13. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, May 13, from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services.
