TOMMY “Tom” MAHAFFEY
Tom Mahaffey, 71, Town of Elk, die in the Flambeau Hospital in Park Falls while under the care of Flambeau Home Health and Hospice. He was born in Richmond, Indiana, on April 28, 1948. He served his country in the U.S. Army in Viet Nam during the Viet Nam War. He was married to Sheri Gatts and they later divorced. He was employed for over 35 years by Palmer Johnson as a large equipment mechanic. In his free time he enjoyed snowmobiling and was active with local snowmobile clubs, boating, cooking, visiting with friends, travel, and listening to old country music.
He is survived by Laurie Hansen; and by his son, Brennan, Montello, WI. He is preceded in death by his parents; and by three brothers.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
