Vera Nelson

Vera Nelson, 63, W7360 Cty. Rd. O, Tomahawk, passed away February 22, 2008 at her residence under home hospice care. Vera was born December 7, 1944 in Tomahawk the daughter of John and June DuPont. She married Robert Nelson on April 27, 1963 in Merrill. Vera was a life-long resident of the Tomahawk area. She worked at the Tomahawk House for many years. She enjoyed playing bingo, taking trips to the casino, and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include: Husband Robert Nelson, Sr. of Tomahawk 1 son Robert (Stacey) Nelson, Jr. of Tomahawk 2 daughters Sheri (Doug) Nelson-Tresness of Tomahawk Holly Ott of Iowa 1 brother Jack DuPont of Merrill 3 sisters Judy Teal Sally (Cliff) Sicklinger both of Tomahawk Melanie (Gary) Fralick of Rhinelander 5 Grandchildren Ivie, Madelyn, Noah, Paul & Steven A Memorial Service for Vera Nelson will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2008 from Krueger & Sons Funeral Home in Tomahawk. Rev. Dr. Gary Uttech will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday the 1st from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00 a.m.
