Victor John Fahl, age 76 of Ogema, WI passed on Sunday, February 20th at Tomah VA Medical Center. Victor was born on January 3, 1946, in Milwaukee, WI the son of Edwin and Elizabeth (nee Looysen) Fahl.
He graduated from Milwaukee Lutheran High School. Victor married Karen Sue Klug on September 13, 1969. He was the owner of Country Woodcraft that made kitchen and bathroom cabinets and other wood furniture. He then worked as a rural postal carrier for the USPS until his retirement in 2015. He loved outdoor activities hunting, trapping, fishing and gardening. He always had flowerpots and a hummingbird feeder hanging on the front porch for Karen to enjoy. Every year he looked forward to the spring where he could make maple syrup. He was a proud member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 256 in Minocqua.
He is survived by children Jeffrey Fahl, Jennifer (Jody) Moore, Jonathan Fahl, Jessica (Jim) McKittrick and Jason (Sadie) Fahl and by grandchildren Paige and Kendra Moore, Brooke, Kayla and Riley Gillett and Lily and Logan McKittrick and Lexi and Adam Fahl, by brother William Fahl and nephews.
Victor was preceded in death by his wife Karen and parents Edwin and Elizabeth, sister Ruth, and nephew Scott.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home 761 South Street Prentice, WI 54556. Funeral Services will be on Friday, February 25, 2022, at 11:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, W4594 US Highway 8, Prentice, WI 54556. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. till time of service. Burial will take place at Leavitt Creek Cemetery in Ogema, WI.
