Victor G. Soyko, Jr., age 83, passed away early Monday, August 20, 2007 at the Golden Living Center- Golden Age in Tomahawk.
Vic was born on July 4, 1924 in Milwaukee to Victor and Anna Soyko. He married Vera Miller in 1945 in Milwaukee, she passed away in 1991. They moved to Tomahawk in 1973 from Hales Corners, Wisconsin. He was employed by the Town of Bradley for 30 years in the maintenance department. Vic had been a former Welter weight boxing champion in Milwaukee. He enjoyed music, animals, classic movies, working in the woods and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

2 Daughters, Kim (Richard) Krueger Wausau Vickie (Nels) Reith Milwaukee
1 Son, Jay (Mary) Soyko Scottsdale, AZ
Vic is further survived by 11 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Vera, and a daughter, Sharon Buck.
Memorial Services for Victor Soyko will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from the Krueger & Sons Funeral Home. Rev. Dr. Gary Uttech will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.
