Violet E. Winchell

Violet E. Winchell, age 89, of Tomahawk passed away at Sacred Heart Hospital on January 29, 2017. Violet was born on February 14, 1927 in Wausau to her parents, Anton & Clara Czerwinski. She was the first of thirteen children born and raised in Wausau. Violet was married to John Winchell on June 26, 1945. Together, they moved to Minocqua almost 50 years ago. Violet loved fishing and being outdoors. Violet is survived by her husband, John; her son, Terry; and her faithful dog, Ginger. According to Violet’s wishes, funeral services will be held privately.
