Violette Johnson

Violette J. Johnson, age 86, of Tomahawk, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 at St. Clare Hospital in Weston.

Violette was born on July 26, 1931 in Superior to Ira & Bergloit Brown. She was married to Ralph Johnson on August 26, 1948 in Superior. Together, Ralph and Violette had 8 children. Later, Violette went to work for Dr. Sauer. She was a dental assistant for many years. She loved playing cards and traveling. She enjoyed watching the Packers and the Badgers play. Violette had a great sense of humor and loved to spend time with her family. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Violette is survived by her children – Ralph (Kathy) Johnson, Springdale, AR, Mary (Ken) Bernarde, Tripoli, Nancy (Dick) Thompson, Wausau, Mark Johnson, Janesville, Larry (Monelle) Johnson, Medford, Sally (Tim) Peeters, Tripoli, & Vicky (Ken) Johnson, Tomahawk. She is further survived by her brother, Harold Brown, 20 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Violette is preceded in death by her parents, husband – Ralph, daughter – Susan, 1 sister and 2 brothers.

The Funeral Service for Violette Johnson will take place at 11:00AM on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at United Methodist Church. Pastor InSun Lee will officiate. Visitation will take place from 10:00AM until the time of service at 11:00AM. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.
