Virginia "Ginny" Goetzel, age 90, of Tomahawk, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Ministry Sacred Heart Hospital under the care of Ministry Hospice. Ginny was born on February 9, 1925 in Chicago, IL, to her parents, Anthony & Lydia Malecha. She was married to Al Ivan and together they had 2 sons. Later in life, she was married to Ray Hinkle who passed away in 1995. Most recently, she was married to Don Goetzel, who passed away in 2010. Ginny worked as an office worker at AAA in the Chicago Area for many years. She was a summer resident of Harshaw until her retirement. After her marriage to Don, they moved to Harshaw full time. Ginny was a faithful member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Virginia is survived by Son, Wayne (Dorothy) Ivan of Hobart, Indiana Son, Bruce (Nancy) Ivan of Chicago Heights, IL Step Children, Donald (Debbie) Goetzel of New Berlin Karen Blatnik of Mukwonago Brenda (Robin) Stielow of Grafton She is further survived by 5 grandchildren, 9 step grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 11 step great grandchildren. Ginny is preceded in death by her parents and her brother. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 5:00PM at St. Mary Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 29, 2015. Fr. Louis Reddy Maramreddy will officiate. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 3:00PM until the time of Mass at 5:00PM. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
