Walter H. Augustine, age 88, 2516 Hanse Street, Tomahawk, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Golden Living Golden Age Nursing Home in Tomahawk. Wally was born on November 7, 1927 in Weston to Albert and Mary (Mrozek) Augustine. He married Barbara Gordon on June 30, 1951 at St. Michaels Catholic Church, in Wausau. Wally was born and raised in Wausau and had a cottage in Harshaw. He retired with the Marmet Corporation in Wausau after 42 years. He enjoyed baseball, hunting & football. Survivors include: Wife, Barbara 5 Children, Linda (Mike) Jarnigan Washington Ray (Rose) Augustine Woodboro Randy Augustine South Carolina Robin (Kay) Augustine Woodboro Russell (Ann) Augustine Neillsville, WI Wally is further survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was proceded in death by his brothers, Joe, Hank, Louie, Adam, Frank, Vince, Victor & Roman; and his sisters, Julie Kunas and Helen Hintz. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Mary Catholic Church on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Louis Reddy Maramreddy will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in the town of Kronenwetter.
