Walter "Biff" Beilke, age 45, of Tomahawk, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2009 at Sacred Heart Hospital following an apparent heart attack.
Biff was born on November 15, 1963 in Chicago, Illinois to Walter and Lillian Beilke. He married Connie Breitfelder on October 19, 1985 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Biff moved to Tomahawk at the age of 5 and had helped his parents with running Beilke's Supper Club on Road Lake. Following high school, Biff served 4 years with the US Navy. He also served many years with the Naval Reserve. Biff was currently employed as a construction supervisor with the Federal Bureau of Prison Systems. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the American Legion.

Funeral Services for Biff Beilke will be held on Friday, July 24, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Mary Catholic Church. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Krueger & Sons Funeral Home Thursday, July 23, 2009 from 4 until 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00. There will be a parish vigil service conducted at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home Thursday evening. Military Rites will be conducted at the Graveside. Memorials are appreciated to Tomahawk Special Olympics.
