Wayne L. Bushor, Sr., age 64, 4909 Timber Hills Drive, Harshaw, passed away January 7, 2009 at his residence.
Wayne was born to George and Alta Bushor on March 16, 1944. He married Sallie Jean Hanson on January 28, 1963. Together, they had three children: Wayne (Mary) Bushor, Jr. of Minocqua, Waunita "Peanut" (Brett) Shotwell of Tomahawk, and Wesley (Jonelle) Bushor of Tomahawk. Wayne had thirteen brother and sisters. Still surviving are: Ramona Bushor, Harshaw, Darwin (Barbara) Bushor, Gleason, Roderick Bushor, Rhinelander, Donna (Val) Thilmany, Rhinelander, Ardis Teal, Tomahawk, Marvin Bushor, Gillette, Wyoming, Roger (Donna) Bushor, Iron River, Michigan, Juanita (Ron) Evans, Tomahawk, Terri (Mort) Mortenson, Tomahawk, and Alita (Barry) Evans, Iron River, Michigan. He is further survived by twelve grandchildren: Rachel, Cassie, Emily, Jared, Mesheal, Kara, Hugh, Gabriella, Rich, Reba, Ta'ny, and Demi. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Roland and Arvid, and seven nieces and nephews.
Wayne worked as a logger in northern Wisconsin and the U.P. for most of his life. He enjoyed working with his hands, spending time in nature, and being with his family. His goal was to live for Jesus. He is resting now, waiting for the second coming of his Lord and Savior.
A Memorial Service for Wayne Bushor will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2009 from Krueger & Sons Funeral Home in Tomahawk. Shelem Flemons will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00 a.m.
