William "Bill" C. Christensen, age 76, of Tomahawk, passed away on August 2, 2008 at his home. He was born September 25, 1932 in Tomahawk to the late Fred and Vera Christensen.
Bill grew up in West Craft with 3 Sisters and 6 Brothers. After Graduation he moved to Milwaukee, where he worked for National Container and met his beautiful wife, Gaynel, they were married June 25, 1955 in Park Falls. Later he got a job in construction, working for his childhood friends, Bill and Jim Johnson. Except for living in Milwaukee, Sussex and Arizona, most of his life was spent in the town he so loved, Tomahawk. Bill found great pleasure helping his daughters and grandsons fix up their homes or cars. But he was the happiest when he got to work with the young Daigle boys and it was a real treat to be able to work with them at their shop. He was quick with his wit, and warm hearted toward others and loved children. He was an avid reader, card player(cheater), crossword puzzler and Jeopardy fan.
