William Hupf

William L. Hupf, Jr., age 68, 310 W. Leather Ave., Tomahawk, passed away February 14, 2008 at Seasons of Life Hospice House in Woodruff. William was born April 26, 1939 in Eagle River to William and Florence (Dean) Hupf, Sr. He married Billie Jean Furhman on December 18, 1957 in Palmyra; she passed away March 4, 2006. William was raised in the Rhinelander area, and was a former employee with Drott Manufacturing. He later lived in Wausau for 10 years where was employed with the Wausau Health Care Center. He had been a resident of Tomahawk since 1974. He enjoyed playing golf, and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include: 1 Son Donald (Tammy) Hupf of Gleason 2 Sisters Barbara Kappel of Mountain Jackie Ratliff of Milwaukee 2 Grandchildren Carey and Katie Hupf William is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife - Billie, and 3 sisters. A Memorial Service for William Hupf will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2008 from Krueger & Sons Funeral Home. Rev. Don Cannady will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday the 23rd from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00 a.m.
