William R. Kluka, age 62, Tomahawk, passed away unexpectedly March 9, 2010 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau.
Bill was born October 21, 1947 in Milwaukee, the son of William S. and Lila (Lathrop) Kluka. He married Janice "Bunny" Bong on May 1, 1971 in Cudahy. Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War. He was employed with Allis Chalmers for 19 years, was later employed with Siemens, and finally United Welding. He & Bunny were summer residents of the Tomahawk area since 1994. In 2002, they moved to Tomahawk permanently and purchased Bootleggers Supper Club. Bill enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, playing guitar, and singing karaoke. He was an avid snowmobiler, and served on the board of directors for Northwoods Passage and the Northwoods Riders. Bill was a member of the Knight Owls and Harshaw Wanderers snowmobile clubs, the Wisconsin and Tomahawk/Merrill Tavern Leagues, the Wisconsin Restaurant Association, and Lake Nokomis Concerned Citizens.

Bill is further survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, 2 brothers - Thomas and John, and 2 brothers in law.
Funeral Services for Bill Kluka will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, March 12, 2010 from Krueger Family Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 11th from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m., and again on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 12:00 noon. Burial will be in the spring at Greenwood Cemetery in Tomahawk.
